Our old one is short a few stars.<br \/>\nHad it been up today, likely it would now be in Idaho. Wind gusted to 46 mph between 4 and 5 PM. At 10 PM it has dropped to 44 mph. Sustained wind is only 28 mph.<br \/>\nGetting it up is a project for Sunday. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #FF0000;\">Item #2: She can&#8217;t wait to eat pizza.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Amber Kornak met one of her favorite critters.  It fractured her skull and caused severe wounds to her head, neck and back.<br \/>\nThe good news is, it did not kill her.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-44243418\"><strong>from Montana \u2013 a bear story<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #FF0000;\">Item #3: A beer story<\/span><br \/>\nWhile moving dirt on a trail this morning (Fri., 25th) I hit something that went &#8220;clink&#8221;. Buried in the brush and under several inches of dirt was a full bottle of Bud-Lite. Vintage 2008. The consensus of the crew was that this was not a cultural artifact worth calling authorities about.  Nor did anyone want to sample it. The term &#8220;trash&#8221; seemed appropriate.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #FF0000;\">Item #4: Just a pretty picture<\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/rocknponderosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kilauea.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"502\" height=\"374\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7250\" srcset=\"http:\/\/rocknponderosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kilauea.jpg 502w, http:\/\/rocknponderosa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Kilauea-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 502px) 85vw, 502px\" \/>Hawaii&#8217;s Kilauea volcano continues to cause trouble, but the good news it has not (yet) blown the island apart.<br \/>\nI found this pretty image while searching for news.<br \/>\nAn old photo (9 years ago) of a Kilauea eruption.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #FF0000;\">And that, for this week, is the not so nasty news.<br \/>\nJohn <\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Item #1: Got your flag?
