A swan seems to take off with difficulty, some even say clumsily.\u00a0 Once airborne the legs tuck in and the neck stretches out \u2013 and the clumsy becomes graceful in flight.<\/p>\n
Nancy is close, but not yet able, to get started on her own.\u00a0 Wheelchair, potties, and most beds are low and she just can\u2019t quite get up from them.\u00a0 In the PT room they have a bed that is higher off the floor.\u00a0 From it Nancy can get her feet on the floor and with the high handles of her \u2018walker\u2019 she can establish vertical posture.\u00a0 Then she is ready and able to travel.<\/p>\n
The grace of a swan in flight?\u00a0 Maybe not.<\/p>\n
