Friday evening, with Nancy doing well, I decided I would stay home on Saturday morning.\u00a0 So I did. \u00a0I stayed home this morning to do a few things and failed \u2013 not in staying home but in getting anything done. \u00a0Dogs and horses needed attention. Nancy called several times.<\/p>\n
Her roommate\u2019s daughter had stopped at a well know food place and bought a milkshake \u2013 \u201cone of the best shakes in town.\u201d\u00a0 Nancy thought she might like one.\u00a0 To kill two of us birds with one stone I decided to order my meal as well.\u00a0 $10 later I was on my way.\u00a0 Why does a small milkshake cost $3.00 when I can buy a half-gallon of ice cream (on sale) for the same price?<\/p>\n
Next \u201cmilkshake day\u201d I\u2019ll make it at home and carry it in.\u00a0 And don\u2019t get me started on how little things cost when I was young!<\/p>\n
It is late afternoon and I\u2019ll soon be headed back to town.\u00a0 We have 100% cloud cover and it is sprinkling and I have to go out and feed horses.\u00a0 And the dogs want to go out and run in the muck \u2013 not a chance!<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve looked all over for a phone number she wants.\u00a0 Can\u2019t find it.<\/p>\n
Ran her soiled shirts (blouses) through the laundry.\u00a0 Then ran the dish washer just to claim I\u2019d done something useful.<\/p>\n
In December Nancy was in the hospital and I bought a cell phone.\u00a0 It has a camera.\u00a0 It isn\u2019t of much use unless I can get the images from it to my computer.\u00a0 It has \u201cBluetooth\u201d and a USB port.\u00a0 I haven\u2019t figured out the Bluetooth thingy yet so I went (today) and bought the appropriate cable for the USB connector.\u00a0 I just spent an hour trying to figure that out.\u00a0 No luck.\u00a0 So I will make another trek to the AT&T store to see if they have any idea.\u00a0 If that doesn\u2019t work I\u2019ll have to go find an 8 year-old.<\/p>\n
