Meal was potluck but with grilled sausages. We had a couple of games of P\u00e9tanque &#8211; throwing steel balls (<em>boules<\/em>) at a target officially called a jack (French: <em>cochonnet<\/em>). When not trying to get close to the target, one tries to knock other&#8217;s boules away from said target. Wine helps.<\/p>\n<p>At home, the squirrels, Blue Jays, Magpies and I try to get the Walnuts before one of the others does.<br \/>\nAll are noisy.
